Lady Gaga Plans Social Network Site for Celebrities

Lady Gaga is teaming up with former Google CEO, Eric Schmidt to create a Social Network site for celebrities only, it's called Blackplane. So far Blackplane has raised 1 million dollars in funding from investors. "Blackplane will provide a platform and tools for communities to socialize and communicate on a more focused level."

In 2009, Adam Lambert debuted his album For Your Entertainment it's been a huge hit and it's exactly what 19 Entertainment wanted to hear.

Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games

There has been much skepticism towards having Jennifer Lawrence play the character Katniss in the upcoming movie The Hunger Games. All of those fans who were outraged that Lawrence was chosen are now silent. When the first pictures of Lawrence as Katniss were released all of the fans doubts were put to rest. Lawrence's transformation included dying her hair, make up and among other things. The actress is also learning archery for her role.

NBC Rejects Wonder Woman

NBC has decided to reject the show Wonder Woman before it even had the chance to make it on tv. The reason for the rejection is that when Wonder Woman was aired for test screenings, it recieved a lot of mixed reviews. The mixed reviews were just one thing, there was also constant complaint about the modernized costume.
This does not mean it's the end for the television show, the could pitch it to other stations..but who would want a show that NBC rejected?

Thor

According to MTV.com, Thor is said to be one of the best Marvel movies beating out Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Incredible Hulk. There has been a lot of praise towards director Kenneth Branagh and what he "was able to accomplish with his comic book source material."

YouTube To Be Made Into Major Film Rental Deal

For two years now YouTube has been trying to get major Hollywood studios to offer new-release movies for rent, this is soon going to be possible.
So far Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, and Universal Pictures have agreed to rent movies through YouTube. The charge for renting movies is suppose to be similar to what iTunes charges.
